Spitsbergen The website off the Svalbard Science Forum will give you useful information for planning and conducting fieldwork in Svalbard. From legislation and protected areas to forms, logistics, safety measures, training and climate. And not to mention the checklist for fieldworkers and the 'Observation and Sample Exchange Forum'. The Netherlands Arctic Station in Ny Alesund also provides opportunities to do your research in Ny Alesund. If you want to sail to a specific research location in Spitbergen or have to travel arround, there are several boats who are willing to take you: MS Farm  Jonathan Adventure Sailing Bagheera Greenland The Danish Polar Center (DPC) organizes, from year to year, logistics platforms for research projects in selected regions of Greenland. These platforms optimize the economic advantages in coordinating the logistic needs from all actors in a certain geographical region during the summer field season. This way opportunities arise for small projects with highly sensitive budgets to partake in field campaigns that they could otherwise not be a part of. During recent summers logistics platforms have covered Northwest as well as Northeast Greenland. Antarctica Comnap, the Council of Managers of National Antarctic Programs, is the international association that brings together National Antarctic Programs from around the world to develop and promote best practice in managing the support of scientific research in Antarctica.
